“I feel ready and want to test myself,” Liverani told the Gazzetta dello Sport.
“Delio Rossi is a winner and a real teacher of football who does very well with young players. I am inspired by many of the great Coaches I’ve worked with and Rossi is among them.”

Neither Liverani nor Rossi gave pre-match Press conferences ahead of tonight’s tense Genoa Derby.
The lead-up took a particularly bizarre twist when Sampdoria caught a Genoa coach hiding in the bushes in full camouflage gear to spy on their training session, then the Rossoblu published photographs of more ‘spies’ watching their preparations.
