Around 40 people have died so far and some towns are locked off without electricity after heavy snowfall and temperatures well below 0.

The Lega is set to make a decision over the next couple of days and so far the games most at risk are Bologna-Juventus, Parma-Fiorentina and Siena-Roma.

Both clubs have requested the match be brought forward to the afternoon, although if the snow increases by a great deal then it may well have to be postponed altogether.

Around 60 people have been working at the Stadio Dall’Ara every day to clear the pitch and stands, but more snow is expected to fall.

Siena-Roma is also set to kick off at 19.45 UK time on Saturday and is likely to be moved to an afternoon start.
