Antonio Di Natale of Udinese remains one of Italy’s finest players despite again being omitted from the international squad, says his agent.

Di Natale has won the Serie A Capocannoniere title for the last two seasons and he again leads the scoring charts thanks to his eight strikes so far this term.

Italy boss Cesare Prandelli recently admitted that he would consider the 34-year-old for selection, but he wasn’t included in the squad for the friendlies against Poland and Uruguay.

“Everyone knows about the value of the player,” representative Bruno Carpeggiani told TMW on Monday.

“This is a decision made by Prandelli, but it is a decision which creates no problems for us whatsoever.”

Di Natale, the scorer of 10 goals in 36 caps, hasn’t appeared for his country since the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
