Serbian Coach Vladimir Petrovic praised Italy for their performance in the Belgrade stalemate.

The Azzurri took the lead after 56 seconds in Friday's Euro 2012 qualifier before equalising through Branislav Ivanovic.

“It was a good game, but I am not satisfied with the final 30 minutes when my team left the initiative to the Italians,” said Petrovic of the 1-1 draw.

“Italy are a good side and played very well. I think the result is realistic.”

Serbia must win away to Slovenia on Tuesday to reach the Euro 2012 play-offs.

Estonia's 2-1 victory in Northern Ireland allowed them to leapfrog the Serbs into second place, though it was their final match.
