Fabrizio Miccoli will hold crunch talks with Palermo before deciding whether to remain or leave the club.

The Italian had voiced his intention to quit Sicily following the Coppa Italia Final, but he may now stay at the Barbera.

"I'll speak with Coach Stefano Pioli, the directors and President Maurizio Zamparini," the Lecce-native told Sky Sport Italia.

"I'm happy in Palermo, but there are a few things that need to be looked at. We'll just have to wait and see what happens."

If Miccoli does continue his Rosanero adventure, then he hopes to still be playing alongside Javier Pastore.

"He's a great player," the Italian international noted. "I don't know what his future will be, but he's important for Palermo so I hope he doesn't go anywhere.

"As a teammate, friend and colleague, I hope he stays. However, if he joins a big club then I would be delighted for him."
