Reports today again linked the former Inter player and ex Nerazzurri assistant boss with the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.

Mihajlovic confirmed his commitment to Fiorentina on Saturday.

"Last season ACF Fiorentina chose me and I chose Fiorentina, despite having other work offers," wrote Mihajlovic on the club's website.

"I am happy with the decision I made, which allowed me and will allow me to work with a club made up of professional and competent people.

"I hope to continue my profession at Fiorentina for many more years."

Mihajlovic signed a two-year contract in Tuscany, with an option for a third, in the summer of 2010 after he arrived from Catania.
