The tactician had threatened to walk away if the club did not reinforce his squad for Champions League football.
It was also reported he'd be heading towards Juventus, who now seem to have picked Siena boss Antonio Conte instead.
“As far as I am concerned, it's much more probable that I'll still be the Coach next season,” declared Mazzarri in today's Press conference.

“As far as I am concerned, it's much more probable that I'll still be the Coach next season,” declared Mazzarri in today's Press conference.
“It would make me very sad to leave this group. I have an excellent rapport with the players and the fans have always shown great affection.
“I think that next week President Aurelio De Laurentiis will find time to talk to me. After the Juventus game on Sunday, he'll tell me when it is possible.
“I am ready to plan for the future and when the club gives me some guidelines on our project, I will be able to tell you my decision.
“When you reach a point that we have in our project, it is necessary to discuss all the plans again.
“In any case, I am an employee, the directors reign and they will decide our destiny.”
This statement comes after De Laurentiis noted he would not release Mazzarri from his contract.
