Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini claims he has yet to sack Delio Rossi and that no one has been hired as his replacement.
Earlier today Zamparini told reporters that he would be meeting three candidates, among which Serse Cosmi is one.
"I haven't any official statement to make and nothing to declare," he said.
"I haven't taken any decision on the coaching position at Palermo.
"I haven't sacked nor hired anyone. The team will go in ritiro," he concluded.
