Parma have announced that Giampietro Manenti is their new owner and President, replacing the outgoing Rezart Taci and Ermir Kodra.

Taci led a consortium to buy out the Ducali in December, but amid the continuing financial crisis at the club, sold out to an unnamed investment group.

As excepted though after today’s shareholder meeting, the club have released details on their new owner, who will also act as President.

“At the end of the meetings between the shareholders of Parma FC and Eventi Sportivi Spa held today at the Collecchio management centre, Parma FC communicates that the club was acquired in full by Giampietro Manenti,” reads the Gialloblu’s official statement on the matter.

“Ermir Kodra resigned today. The role of President will be covered henceforth with full effect and full powers by Giampietro Manenti.

“The club's operations will be handled by Fiorenzo Alborghetti, with the assistance of Pietro Leonardi.

“Furthermore, today the assemblies were officially established for the shareholders of the Eventi Sportivi Spa and Parma FC to be held on Thursday February 19 (first assembly) and Friday February 20 (second assembly).

“As per protocol, in those meetings the members of the new board of directors will be nominated, with the investment of the related powers.

“President Manenti and his collaborators are trying to shorten times as far as possible to meet the imminent deadlines and begin the process of rebuilding the club.

“Wednesday February 11 at 14:30 the official presentation of the new ownership will take place at the Stadio Tardini's Press room.”
