Parma Coach Roberto Donadoni was upset at defeat to Juventus, but also slammed “cowardly and hypocritical” Antonio Cassano.
The Ducali are in crisis, but still held out until the 89th minute of tonight’s Coppa Italia quarter-final before capitulating to an Alvaro Morata goal.
“We put in a great performance and I am disappointed, as we lost at the last minute to an offside goal,” Donadoni told Rai Sport.

“We put in a great performance and I am disappointed, as we lost at the last minute to an offside goal,” Donadoni told Rai Sport.
“On Sunday we were disadvantaged by a refereeing error too. These are two undeserved defeats and I am sorry for the lads, who are suffering with the current situation and losing through no fault of their own hurts even more.”
Cassano terminated his contract by mutual consent on Monday after receiving no wages for six months.
When Donadoni was asked about rumours Gabriel Paletta will be sold, his response said more about FantAntonio than anyone else.
“It seems there are vultures circling us. I don’t understand why we should sell Paletta. The last time we played against Juve in November we conceded seven goals, while tonight we played on level terms. This needs to be the real Parma.
“It takes more dignity to stay in the saddle than to quit. It’s easy for me to say I’ll leave because I don’t get paid or because I have other offers. The only thing that really makes sense is doing your duty all the way.
“People mustn’t think only of themselves, that is cowardly and hypocritical behaviour. If today we fought on a par with Juventus, who are top of the table, then it means we can still challenge this season.”
