The Lega Serie A excluded Salernitana from the Assembly today, as the Granata wait for news regarding registration in the top flight.

Lazio patron Claudio Lotito must sell Salernitana, as he is not allowed to be the owner of two clubs in Serie A.

FIGC rejects Lotito’s trust to sell Salernitana

The businessman wanted to pass over the ownership of Salernitana to a blind trust, but the FIGC rejected the attempt and has given him until Saturday to ‘solve the problems’.

The club has, according to Il Corriere dello Sport, been excluded from the Lega Serie A Assembly until they are registered to play in the League and was thus not invited for the meeting today.

Among the topics on the agenda, will be the increase in slots for games, possibly agreeing on 10 different kick-off times during the weekend.

Another theme will be the TV rights for the Coppa Italia, with RAI, Mediaset and Sky all interested.

Serie A could play 10 games at 10 different times next season
