48 hours remain: Sassuolo set ultimatum on Napoli target Raspadori

Sassuolo have reportedly given Napoli around 48 hours to find an agreement for forward Giacomo Raspadori.

The Partenopei have been keen to pick up the 22-year-old Italian forward for a number of weeks and have been in talks with the Neroverdi for a little while now. Their initial offer was around €25m plus €5m in add-ons, but this has risen as negotiations have progressed.

As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Sassuolo have set a 48 hour ultimatum on Raspadori, pushing Napoli to iron out an agreement. Their current offer sits at €34m total – €4.5m for the loan, €24.5m for the obligation to buy clause and €5m in add-ons, which is around €1m total less than Sassuolo are hoping for.

One of the two parties will have to concede if a deal is to be reached this week. Raspadori is quietly waiting for updates, having already agreed personal terms with the Partenopei. The 22-year-old has agreed to a four-year deal worth around €2.5m net per season.
