The 1-0 defeat to Manchester United on Thursday means the Rossoneri are out of the Europa League and must focus only on the battle at the top in Serie A.
Brahim arrived from Real Madrid last summer and said he’s ‘happy’ at San Siro, where he found a ‘united’ group.
“We have always played at a good level,” Brahim Diaz told MilanTV. “We are all united and personally, I’m happy.
“Yesterday, we lacked the small details. But I’m proud of the team because we are more compact than ever.
“Now, we must only think about the championship and we have to win all the games we have left.”
And the Spanish attacked admitted the Rossoneri were ‘bitter’ about the Europa League exit.
“It was bitter. We are angry because we deserved more,” he said. “This will give us strength and will allow us to play at a high level in the next games, from start to finish.
“Such a result makes us more united.”
Brahim said his position doesn’t matter, as long as he gets to be on the ball.
“I like to play all over the pitch and have the ball at my feet,” he added. “I have a lot of confidence in myself and in the team.
“Winning the next match would give us a lot of strength, now we only have to think of Fiorentina, where we must give our best.”
The Viola host Milan at the Artemio Franchi on Sunday and Brahim praised the opponents.
“We know they are a good team and that they have good players,” he said. “But we have to focus on ourselves and give our all.”
