A banner was hung across a bridge near Ponte Milvio and the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, reading: ‘Roman salutes to Camerata Reina.’
Camerata is the Fascist version of Comrade.
Former Liverpool, Napoli and Milan goalkeeper Reina has spoken in support for the Vox party in Spain, a far-right organisation that first entered the Spanish parliament in 2019.
