Mario Balotelli ramped up the war of words with Brescia, backing Mino Raiola’s assertion he has ‘never been tested’ for COVID-19 by his club.

According to the striker and his agent, Brescia are trying to prevent him from accessing the training ground and working with his teammates.

In order to ensure Balotelli cannot get close to his co-workers, they have reportedly not even given him a single swab test for coronavirus, whereas the others received several.

According to the striker and his agent, Brescia are trying to prevent him from accessing the training ground and working with his teammates.

In order to ensure Balotelli cannot get close to his co-workers, they have reportedly not even given him a single swab test for coronavirus, whereas the others received several.

“They are discriminating against Balotelli, he has never been tested by Brescia, not even one swab,” read the quote from Raiola on Balotelli’s Instagram stories.

Under that, Balo himself had written: ‘It’s all true!’

Now the FIGC has opened an investigation into Brescia and their medical staff, as they are obliged to test all their players for COVID-19.

It’s reported in Il Messaggero newspaper’s online edition that the FIGC inspectors were at Brescia’s headquarters today.

If Brescia are not fulfilling the medical protocol requirements, they could be given very strong punishment.

Balotelli also sent in a letter demanding the outstanding March salary be paid, as the player and club dive into a legal battle ahead of this increasingly ugly divorce.
