Former Albania manager Gianni De Biasi is reportedly on the verge of taking on another national team by signing for Iran.
According to Sky Sport Italia, De Biasi received a proposal for a 30-month contract that would take his work up to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
De Biasi has plenty of experience as an international manager, having been on the Albania bench from December 2011 to June 2017.

Since leaving that role, he had a brief spell of nine games as coach of Spanish side Alaves, but has otherwise been taking time off and working as a television pundit.
The 63-year-old could be back in the game for an exciting new adventure with Iran.
