Sky: Lecce have reached an agreement with both Fiorentina and Genoa to bring Riccardo Saponara to the Via del Mare.

The attacking midfielder has been on loan at Genoa this term and Fiorentina have according to Sky Sport Italia agreed to let him move to the Giallorossi for the last half of the season.

The 28-year-old has only played four Serie A games for the Rossoblu and his current loan move with an option to buy will be transferred to Lecce for the remainder of the season.

Saponara only played 29 league games for the Viola after his move to Florence in January 2017. He initially came on loan from Empoli and moved permanently to the Artemio Franchi for €9m in July 2018.

He has since played for both Sampdoria and Genoa at the Marassi, but now he will start a new chapter under Fabio Liverani in Puglia.
