Roger Ibanez would prefer a move to Roma, according to Sky Sport Italia, as the Giallorossi leapfrog Bologna into pole position for the Atalanta player.

Bologna had reportedly agreed to pay Atalanta €9m with €2m in add-ons and Roma would have to match the offer to bring him to the Olimpico.

But, after meeting with both clubs, the broadcaster claims that the player would prefer to play for Paulo Fonseca in the capital over Sinisa Mihajlovic at the Renato Dall'Ara.
