The Dea are currently sixth in Serie A, five points behind third-placed Lazio. Now, Gasperini expects the fight for Champions League to go on until the end of the season.

“I believe the League is not yet defined,” he told Radio Rai, before expressing his opinion that the Scudetto would be going to Juventus or Inter.

“Apart from the top two places, this Serie A is still completely open. Roma are growing and Lazio have accomplished a lot.

Cagliari are the real big surprise packages. Then you have Napoli, Milan, Torino and Fiorentina, who can climb the table and steal points from anyone."

Atalanta have been boosted by the return of Duvan Zapata, who could make his comeback against Shakhtar Donetsk next week.
