Inter have reportedly agreed a deal to sell Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa to Flamengo for €18m plus 20-25 per cent of his future transfer fee.
The 23-year-old was purchased from Santos in 2016 for €29.5m, but failed to make an impact in Serie A or during a loan spell at Benfica.
He has most definitely found his feet at Flamengo, where in 2019 he has scored 24 goals in 29 competitive games.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs have now reached a basic agreement to make the move permanent for €18m.

Inter will also retain 20-25 per cent of his sell-on fee, hoping to make a tidy profit should he try again in Europe.
The Nerazzurri will then use that money to purchase reinforcements in midfield during the January transfer window.
