Hellas Verona received the international transfer for 19-year-old right-back Wesley, so he can make his Serie A debut this weekend.
The red tape took some time to sort out, but a statement from the club today confirmed he is now their player outright.
Wesley is nicknamed ‘Gasolina’ due to his pace and was picked up by Verona on conjunction with Juventus and agent Mino Raiola.
He left Flamengo as a free agent in August after his contract expired.
Wesley has played 20 caps for Brazil at Under-17 level, scoring one goal.
