La Joya was not only left out of the starting XI for the third game out of three this season, but didn’t even come off the bench during Saturday’s 0-0 draw with Fiorentina.

It was a disappointing overall performance with precious few scoring opportunities from the Bianconeri, who fell off the top of the table after almost two years.

Dybala’s brother and representative Gustavo sent a pointed tweet about the game.

“The violin cannot play beautiful music if it’s missing a string…”

The Argentine might get more playing time soon, because Douglas Costa, Danilo and Miralem Pjanic all limped off at the Stadio Franchi with muscular problems.

Douglas Costa’s is the most serious, with a potential hamstring strain keeping him out for two to four weeks, while Pjanic is also in doubt for the midweek Champions League trip to Atletico Madrid.

Although Juve failed to agree terms with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and PSG over the summer, it’s reported those clubs could come back in with new offers for Dybala in January.
