Torino legend Ciccio Graziani maintains wantaway Nicolas Nkoulou should be “suspended for at least four years without pay.”

The defender tried to push through a transfer to Roma in the final days of the summer market, telling Coach Walter Mazzarri he was too unfocused to play.

He was therefore left out of the squad that lost to Wolves in the Europa League play-offs.

“Nkoulou deserves a very long ban, as he was unprofessional and unreliable, both terrible things,” Graziani told Toronews and Tuttosport.

“By signing a contract, that player has the right to receive his salary, but also the duty to step on to the pitch when called. UEFA and FIFA ought to intervene as well.

“The correct punishment would be to suspend him for at least four years without pay or the chance to set foot on the field.”
