Mario Balotelli made his Brescia debut in a 5-1 friendly victory over Mantova, with Luca Tremolada and Leonardo Morosini scoring twice each.

The former Inter, Milan, Nice and Marseille striker cannot take part in Serie A games yet, as he arrived with a four-match ban, so was given an hour run-out in a friendly organised during the break for international duty.

Deadline day signing Romulo also made his debut and Balotelli had a hand in their opening goal, his ferocious free kick parried for Alessandro Semprini’s tap-in.

Alessandro Matri came off the bench for the second half and reunited with Balotelli, who he already partnered playing for Milan and even Lumezzane.

Balo only played for an hour, though, and Brescia surged ahead in the closing stages with braces for Morosini and Tremolada.
