Roberto D’Aversa confessed Parma have “regrets over the result, as we could’ve brought home a point” against Juventus.
An early Giorgio Chiellini flick, redirecting an already deflected Alex Sandro volley, proved to be the only difference between the teams at the Stadio Tardini.
“There are regrets over the result, especially considering the second half performance,” said the Parma Coach in his Press conference.
“With a little more determination, we could’ve brought home a point. There are positive aspects, we played on level terms with Juventus, even if the regrets remain.
“Several Juve players ended the game with cramp, so physically we are in good shape. We have to improve in some of our decision-making, especially as we conceded on a corner. Gaston Brugman had a good performance, but he can do better, especially in his timing.
“The defence did a good job all in all, as we only really had problems in the first half dealing with Douglas Costa’s pace. On the goal, there should’ve been someone on the edge of the area to catch the rebound, but once a ball takes two deflections, a goal can happen.”
