An offer of around €1m a season – almost double what the full-back currently earns – would be on the table.

The 23-year-old – who can play on either side – scored five goals and provided five assists in 37 games for the Dea last season, helping them qualify for the Champions League.

As for players leaving Bergamo, La Gazzetta writes Marco D’Alessandro will join SPAL on loan with a €3m obligation to buy.

D’Alessandro’s arrival in Ferrara will allow fellow right wingback Manuel Lazzari to finally join Lazio.

The 28-year-old spent the previous campaign on loan at Udinese, assisting twice in 24 appearances.
