UEFA have officially moved Roma into the Europa League group phase following Milan’s exclusion, while Torino enter the preliminary round on July 25.

The decision to exclude Milan from UEFA competition due to Financial Fair Play violations was finally confirmed by the CAS (Court of Arbitration for Sport) on Friday.

With that news, the two teams behind them in the 2018-19 Serie A table are bumped up.

Roma go from the Europa League preliminary round directly into the group stage, along with Coppa Italia winners Lazio.

In turn, Torino will face either Debrecen or Kukesi in the Europa League preliminary round, starting on July 25.
