Elseid Hysaj “expressed his desire to leave Napoli,” confirmed his agent, although the €40m asking price is putting off Juventus and Atletico Madrid.
Mario Giuffredi just helped complete Empoli full-back Giovanni Di Lorenzo’s transfer to the Stadio San Paolo for €8m plus €2m in bonuses, with the five-year contract signed yesterday.
“Giuntoli was very quick to close the deal, as he wanted to get ahead of the competition,” he told the program “In Casa Napoli” on the TV channel Piuenne.

“Hysaj has expressed his desire to leave, as he believes his time at Napoli has come to an end after four years and he wants a new experience. He will leave, there are teams that are interested, however, the club will have to lower their €40m asking price.
“They have a shrewd sporting director in Giuntoli, and he knows that Hysaj wants to leave, so they know they will have to find a solution to the situation.”
It is reported Atletico Madrid offered €20m and Juventus are also interested, as they are set to hire Maurizio Sarri, but Napoli are holding out for double that sum.
Carlo Ancelotti is ready to revamp the entire defence this summer.
“I regret that I have to find a new club for Mario Rui. He didn’t get the recognition he deserves, he has a great season. There doesn't seem to be any wish from the club to confirm him for next year, so we will work towards his exit.
“Napoli have made plenty of contacts for many players, not only Di Lorenzo, some of the other players I represent too. Perhaps Jordan Veretout is one of them, we’ll have to see, these things take time.
“I believe Parma want to keep Luigi Sepe and Alberto Grassi, as they have both done well under Coach Roberto D’Aversa, we will soon negotiate and see if the right conditions are met between the clubs.”
