Inzaghi had a two-hour meeting with President Lotito and director of sport Igli Tare on Friday night, but Sky Sport Italia and other outlets point to it ending with no real progress.

Lazio have offered him a new contract with increased salary, but the Coach is biding his time.

Lotito is not known for his patience and at this stage may well start looking for alternatives.
