Italy’s Under-17 team have reached the European Championship Final after beating France 2-1 on Thursday.

The Azzurrini had fallen behind to an Enzo Millot goal in the 41st minute, but they came back courtesy of goals from Verona full-back Iyenoma Udogie and Inter forward Salvatore Esposito.

The result was particularly impressive, given France had won 10 of their last 11 games.

Italy will face Netherlands in the Final, the Oranje having defeated Spain 1-0, which will be held in Dublin on Sunday afternoon.
