Italy has scrapped its early transfer window as the summer market for its clubs will be open between July 1 and September 2.

Italian football emulated the English system last year as its summer window lasted from June 1 until August 18.

However, FIGC President Gabriele Gravina [pictured] announced on Thursday that the market would revert to its old ways.

The January 2020 window, meanwhile, will be open between the 2nd and 31st of the month.
