Emre Can should start Juventus’ Champions League quarter-final against Ajax on Tuesday, despite fears he had been left out of the squad.

Sport Mediaset initially reported that the Juve squad left their Vinovo training complex for Allianz Stadium without Can on their team bus to finish their preparation for the second leg.

However, the likes of Romeo Agresti and Gianni Balzarini – a journalist for the broadcaster – have since followed up that he only stayed behind to undergo personalised conditioning.
