“Clearly, we are struggling at the moment when it comes to results, but I feel the performances have been good and we must try to get back to winning ways on home turf, as our most recent here was half a season ago,” the centre-forward told Sky Sport Italia.

“Unfortunately, we are without a home victory since September, but we have prepared well, know Roma are strong and had their confidence boosted by the arrival of a new Coach, but we want to make our fans happy.”

SPAL beat Roma at the Stadio Olimpico when they last met back in October.

“Our performance was very good at the Olimpico, especially the opening 15 minutes, and we must try to replicate that with an aggressive approach.”
