Three people have been taken to hospital after a brawl broke out between Lazio and Sevilla fans on Wednesday evening.

Corriere dello Sport reports all three had stab wounds, two of which were Spanish and the other American.

The newspaper writes the fight began at around 20:30 GMT in the Monti district of Rome and involved approximately 40 people.

The two Spaniards would have been rescued from a restaurant, where they had sought refuge, while the American was found outside.
