Valter Birsa has officially completed his transfer to Cagliari, ending his Chievo experience after four-and-a-half years.
The Slovenia international underwent a medical on Tuesday and signed the paperwork today.
He leaves Chievo after 157 Serie A appearances, scoring 18 goals.
Birsa has put pen to paper on a contract with Cagliari that runs to June 2021.
It was reportedly going to be a loan deal with option to buy that would become an obligation if Cagliari avoided relegation.
