“Making your debut at 35, you’re more aware of how important the trophy is, even if we are already qualified, as we still have much to prove. We’re aware of what we need to do and what we want to show,” the goalkeeper told Sky Sport Italia and Roma TV.

“It’s a difficult moment, but we’ve done well in the Champions League. There are no easy games in this tournament and it’s also an opportunity for those like me who haven’t played as much.

“We want to have the same attitude that we did throughout the competition. We know that it’s important for Viktoria Plzen, but it is for us too.”
