Napoli boss Carlo Ancelotti claims ‘VAR has come too late for us’ in the Champions League after Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk avoided a red card.
Van Dijk only saw yellow for his studs-up tackle on Dries Mertens as Liverpool went on to beat Napoli 1-0 and reach the last 16 at the expense of Ancelotti’s side.
“It could’ve been a red card,” the Coach said after the game.
