“I am sure that we’ll put in a fine performance against Empoli, as we’ve got to prove to the fans and the club what we’re made of,” said the Coach in his Press conference.

“I’m perfectly calm, as there’s a long way to go this season. It won’t be fundamental tomorrow, although I do expect more from my players and we’ve got to understand the various moments of the match.

“On December 30, we’ll all draw a line under that part of the season and see if we are worthy of Bologna.”

Although they are in the relegation zone with just 11 points from 14 rounds, Inzaghi has absolute faith in his team.

“I can assure you that Bologna will be safe come May, regardless of the result tomorrow.”

Blerim Dzemaili and Federico Santander appear to have shaken off knocks, while Arturo Calabresi is suspended.
