Fiorentina could reportedly decide not to take up their option on Juventus winger Marko Pjaca at the end of the season.

The Croatian joined the Viola on a €2m loan with a €20m option to buy, having struggled to break into the first team in Turin.

Pjaca has been unimpressive, however, with just one goal and one assist across 11 Serie A appearances so far.

According to calciomercato.com, that raises the spectre of Fiorentina deciding not to take up their option on him.

That would be a problem, the website reports, as Juve don’t necessarily want to have him back.

The Bianconeri have been disappointed by the 23-year-old’s development, and it’s unlikely he’d be able to find a place in the squad.
