Alessio Cragno’s agent trusts the Cagliari goalkeeper will “start to earn serious interest” from big clubs in future.
The 24-year-old is still waiting for his senior Italy debut, but has made it into the squad for the upcoming games against Portugal and the USA.
“It’s a pity so many clubs are focusing on foreign goalkeepers when in Italy we have talented youngsters coming through,” representative Graziano Battistini told Tuttomercatoweb.
“Alessio is one of them and I am convinced he has all the quality to make the big step up to the next level one day.
“Let’s not joke around here, right now the only club that exists for him is Cagliari. I hope that, if he continues to perform at that level, he will start to earn some serious interest from top clubs.
“Cragno is proving, and must continue to prove, that he is up to the task for any opportunity.”
