The dates of the Coppa Italia two-legged semi-final have been changed, with the Final now on May 15 rather than April 25.

The main Serie A sides don’t begin to take part until the Round of 16 and the fixtures are spread out.

Today the Lega Serie A announced that the semi-final – the only stage to be played over two legs – will be expanded over several months.

Originally, the first leg of the semi-final was on February 6 and the second leg on February 27.

Now the first leg will be on Wednesday February 27 and these teams must wait until April 24 to play the decider.

Consequently the Final at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome is moved from April 25 to May 15.
