Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly was sent back from international duty with Senegal due to “a small lesion” in the thigh muscle.
The centre-back returned home early as a precaution and the chief medic of the Senegal team told Radio Marte some details.
“Koulibaly arrived already carrying an injury after Sunday’s Serie A game,” explained Pape Fedhior.
“He had tests to evaluate the extent of the injury and found a small lesion between the small and large adductor.
