Paulo Dybala has become only the fourth Juventus player to score a Champions League hat-trick, following Pippo Inzaghi, Alex Del Piero and Arturo Vidal.

He bagged his first treble of the tournament in this evening’s match against Swiss side Young Boys.

La Joya follows in the footsteps of some Juventus legends to have scored three in a single Champions League game – clearly not counting the European Cup in its previous incarnation.

La Joya follows in the footsteps of some Juventus legends to have scored three in a single Champions League game – clearly not counting the European Cup in its previous incarnation.

Filippo Inzaghi achieved this feat twice in a Bianconeri jersey, when Juve won the quarter-final 4-1 away to Dinamo Kiev in March 1998 and again in a 4-4 group phase thriller with Hamburger SV in September 2000.

Alessandro Del Piero got the hat-trick as Juve beat AS Monaco 4-1 in the semi-final in April 1998.

Arturo Vidal is the rather unexpected last player to manage a treble in the 3-1 group phase victory over FC Copenhagen in November 2013.
