The website also notes Giallorossi President James Pallotta spoke of his ‘disgust’ before sacking Rudi Garcia two-and-a-half years ago.
Consequently, Corriere dello Sport believes that while Antonio Conte is the ‘dream’, Sousa is the most realistic option to replace the former Sassuolo Coach.
The Portuguese has Serie A experience, coaching Fiorentina between 2015 and 2017, and is currently in charge of Chinese side Tianjin Quanjian.
ItaSportPress adds the 48-year-old was in London on Sunday, where Pallotta’s right-hand man Franco Baldini resides.
