Australian second tier side Avondale FC offered Andrea Pirlo a deal to come out of retirement, but it’s reported the Italy legend isn’t interested.

The midfielder retired after leaving Major League Soccer side New York City FC, and played a farewell match at San Siro in June.

Now ESPN is reporting that Avondale asked him to come out of retirement in time for the FFA Cup quarter-final against Sydney FC on September 19.

However, the American outlet has contacted Pirlo’s representatives who made it clear he’s not interested.
