The former Inter and Milan striker was rushed to hospital on Friday while on vacation in Ibiza, then moved to the intensive care unit of a private clinic.

“Friends, I had a really nasty bout of flu while in Ibiza and had to go into hospital on Friday, but it’s all in order now,” he wrote.
“I will be discharged tomorrow so that I can come back home. Thank you for all your love and kind messages!”
