Sassuolo have officially signed Italy Under-21 forward Enrico Brignola from Benevento for a reported €3.5m.
A statement on Sassuolo’s website confirmed Brignola’s arrival, with midfielder Filippo Bandinelli and winger Federico Ricci moving on loan in the opposite direction.
The 19-year-old scored three goals in 19 appearances for the Stregoni last season, catching the eye despite their relegation from Serie A.
