Bologna have officially signed full-back Federico Mattiello from Atalanta on loan with a compulsory purchase option.
The deal was confirmed in a statement on Bologna’s official website, with the option only applicable if ‘certain conditions’ are met.
Mattiello broke his leg while playing for Juventus in February 2015 but finally put the injury behind him last season, turning out 31 times for SPAL to help them preserve their Serie A status.
