“Torino Football Club is pleased to announce the permanent signing of Soualiho Meité from AS Monaco,” a statement on the club’s website confirmed.
President Urbano Cairo then discussed the move.
“Soualiho Meité is a midfielder with important physicality and very good technique. He’s a modern interpreter of his role, a versatile player who knows how to play anywhere in midfield.
“He’s an ambitious lad and at Toro he’ll find the right conditions to work well, and teammates who speak the same language, an essential condition to facilitate his settling in to his new reality and allowing him to release his full potential.
“On behalf of the club I am pleased to welcome Meité with an affectionate greeting: welcome to the Granata!”
