Sampdoria have announced the signing of midfielder Jakub Jankto from Udinese on loan with a compulsory purchase option worth a reported €15m.
The deal was confirmed in a creative tweet by Samp, which read ‘next to the Ferraris, a film by Massimo Ferrero’, referring to their owner’s career as a film producer and the movie Blind Fury.
Its Italian title, Furia Cieca, was also the inspiration for the nickname of Jankto’s fellow Czech and Juventus legend Pavel Nedved, who was known as ‘Furia Ceca’.
